Berlin Shopify Meetup #05 - Date: February 2018 - Location: WeWork Sony Center
First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who braved the freezing cold temperatures to join us at WeWork on Tuesday! It was great to see so many new faces along with our regular attendees, and we look forward to seeing our community grow even further in 2018.
Below you'll find the recap of Tuesday's meetup; read on for a summary of key announcements and links to all presentations.
Our first announcement is specifically for merchants and store owners: we need your feedback! We're starting to plan the next few meetups which will take us to the end of 2018, and we want to make sure they're as informative and helpful as possible.
So, if you have a topic or specific question you'd like addressed, please just hit "reply" to this email and let us know about it! We'll do our best to make sure it gets covered this year.
Our other announcement on Tuesday was to wave a fond farewell to Nick Kelly, who is stepping down as one of your Shopify meetup cohosts. Thanks again for all your hard work Nick!
Our special thanks to both Michael Arndt from Nosto, and Felix Belau from Chatchamp, both of whom delivered highly informative talks on the night.
Michael took us through an overview of how merchants can use Facebook, Instagram, and user-generated content to increase their revenue; while Felix showed us how to get started with Facebook Messenger Marketing. You can find the link to both presentations here.
Felix also offered the community a 30-day free trial of Chatchamp; a Shopify app to help you boost your Facebook Messenger Marketing – interested merchants should contact him directly at email@example.com.
Keep in touch!
Our next meetup won't be until May/June 2018 (exact date TBC) but in the meantime you can also connect with us by joining our Facebook group, visiting our webpage to sign up for our newsletter, or by using the hashtag #BerlinShopifyMeetup on Twitter.
Looking forward to seeing you at a future meetup!
