    Founded in 2015, buah is known for its freeze-dried berries and tropical fruits, which are characterized by a vitamin-preserving method. The company saw rapidly increasing sales and decided to take the next steps in digitalization and shop optimization to both improve the user experience for its customers and expand internationally.

    Customers needed to be able to quickly discover and understand the various products. The presentation of the sets was particularly crucial. These needed to communicate the benefits, components, and detailed information effectively and clearly. Furthermore, the new shop setup needed to facilitate seamless and effective market entry into new countries. Language localization, separate domains, and a seamless shopping experience across different markets were particularly important here.

buah's online shop needed to not only convey the joy of healthy snacking, but also provide a robust, high-performance foundation for future features. Tante-e recommended a theme-based approach. After a detailed consultation, the company chose the Impact theme. The Shopify experts configured it so that its look and feel precisely matched the brand's identity and design requirements.

Conversion optimization for product sets

For the product page, tante-e developed a custom section that clearly lists the individual products in sets, including a preview image. Clicking on a product opens a popup with further details on flavor, ingredients, and nutritional values. Customers no longer have to leave the set page to access all the important information.

Internationalization of the shop

For market entry in the Netherlands, tante-e recommended Shopify's proprietary "Translate & Adapt" app with Shopify Markets. This enabled the seamless translation of all store pages, logos, and even customer reviews.

Intuitive category changes

tante-e placed so-called collection bubbles on the category pages and the homepage to enable quick switching between different product categories. This gives customers a holistic overview of buah's entire product world. The implementation was done using meta objects and native sections of the Impact theme, allowing buah to manage the bubbles independently and without coding.

The results

buah benefits from an optimized Shopify store that incorporates the latest e-commerce tools and best practices.
